This About Us starts with “WE at Drift” because Drift isn’t just the “I” that owns this
lovely little grass floored, relaxed and comforting beach store.

It’s the team we have working here to make everyone that comes in the door feel like a
friend, and it’s the Drifters that ease on in to make Drift what it is today. The happy chatter between friends that run into each other or the uplifting compliments or comments that are thrown around by total strangers to each other.

There are funny stories, personal challenges, milestones and just general chatter that
carries on all through the day. This
brings laughter and sometimes tears. The
empathy that strangers show each other here daily blows us away.

This along with our OLD-FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE make us very unique in this day and age.  

OUR mission here is to make everyone feel special and totally at home.

No matter if your 5 years old and looking for a special gift for your friend, a dude looking
for that something unique for your significant other, a teen looking for that perfect swimsuit, a lady looking for yourself, or a Grandma looking for something that makes you feel great and look like you feel, not how old you are, DRIFT is where you should be.

I, Sharyn, started this business in 2013, to have a sea change from Brissy and show my
very young children then that there is more to life than the bump n grind of a 9-5 job and that you can follow a dream and if you work hard, it can become a reality.

In 2021 after soul searching and looking for a challenge, I decided to go back to my roots of design and manufacturing and created my labels Reet Petite and Brodes.

These two labels are my passion and my love and I look forward to creating my style for you for many years to come. 

I put my heart and soul into this little place of mine and there isn’t much I wouldn’t do to keep it fresh, fun and a great place to visit.

Lastly, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me your time to visit us at Drift Clothing online, and I hope we will see you again and again.

Founder and creator of Drift, Reet Petite and Brodes and Co. I believe in a different life to that of the 9-5 bump n grind, hence Drift and a life at the beach with my divine not so young children.  After 10 years of retail I have finally allowed time to follow my passion in design and manufacture. I have created a clothing and swim range exclusively available in Drift that fills the gaps and brings joy, not only to customers but myself also.

Raewyn

Raewyn joined us to keep herself busy and enjoy a day of chatting and making things look pretty.  

And doesn't she do that well!! Raewyn juggles being a new grandma as well and is finding a happy medium of everything combined. When she's not traveling the great un-known, Raewyn is a beautiful face to see here at Drift and I would be lost without her always helping hand.

Jeanette

Then we have Mum, aka Gaga, aka Jeanette.  Loved by everyone that comes in touch with her.  Mum is here to serve and most of all have fun and chat to everyone that comes in her path.  I would be lost without her in way more ways than one.  Mum keeps the giftware looking gorgeous, the place magnificent and so much more.  And she gives me time off and is my biggest support. Mum also is the founder and work behind Gaknits, our unique and handmade knit beanies, scarves and wraps.

Jaya

Jaya is our latest edition to the team with her gorgeous vibrancy and stunning looks  Jaya is our everything chick. Starting as the Brodes n Co swimwear model and moving to our social media guru.  Anything I throw at her Jaya takes and runs with it  You can also find her instore from time to time filling a gap when needed and getting her retail therapy fill.   Jaya is a lover of the surf and nature and loves just living at the beach.  We all love her to bits and super blessed to have her with us.

Shae

My daughter Shae, after a two year management traineeship with Me here she is now spending more time following her love of coffee and baristering again. I would be lost however without Shaes photography expertise and design brainstorming sessions. So I'm super happy to be enjoying fun times together still. Shae is my bestest of friend.
